Imagine what it could do to jump start your work day!

3.Eating breakfast makes you feel better! Breakfast helps to prevent some of the adverse effects of fasting such as irritability and fatigue. Think of it this way. When you wake in the morning, you’ve fasted for 8 or more hours and glycogen stores have been used up by the body to supply fuel to the brain, nervous system, and other tissues. It’s time to break the fast and refuel with breakfast!
What should I eat to feel good and energized in the morning?
You’ve just fasted for 3 days. You wouldn’t go and gorge yourself on a greasy hamburger and fries. (Guys, don’t argue me on that one!) Your body would respond best to fruit, protein, and/or whole grains such as fresh fruit and scrambled eggs or a smoothie. Ideally, a fueling breakfast will include a mix of protein, good fat, and carbohydrate to balance blood sugar, optimize fat burning, and increase your metabolism throughout the day!
